We worked outside today a little. Things are getting kind of out of control so some spraying was necessary...like my WWI era sprayer? It only weighs about 100 pounds. Comfy to carry around on the back:)

A 11 year old?! Yes, we have one...Hannes, mom and uncle Ed had birthdays yesterday. Hannes wanted a trotinette (razor) and requested crème brulée for dessert. I think it was more about the torch part for the sugar but it was really tasty too.

Oberhofen

We spent a beautiful Friday evening with Heidi and Markus on the occasion of their 30th wedding anniversary. They chose a small romantic hotel with a fantastic restaurant-we ate and chatted and ate some more, slept like royalty and then met again at the breakfast table for some more food:) truly a weight watchers occasion! The weather cooperated and we took in the breathtaking scenery from our balcony. Ahhh..thanks Markus and Heidi for a great time and to Nani for watching our brood here at home.

Go-karts

We combined the boys' parties and went to the karting place with two friends each. It was loud, fun and crazy and we all enjoyed it. I just watched but even that is fun when all you can see is one big grin on each of their faces!
