Surprise guests are the best kind! We had a fun afternoon/evening with some friends from around here..a beautiful chocolate cake and a fruit tiramisu kept all of the bellies satisfied. It is nice to have some good friends. I think I will keep having birthdays and getting older after all.

Thanks for having a birthday Heidi! Can't think of a better way to spend the weekend. Girls' night out Friday, sunshine Saturday and Sunday and then a second birthday celebration Sunday evening. Supper was perfect too with nothing but desserts! :-) I think we'll do this again next year but maybe someone else will have a birthday before so we don't have to wait a whole year.
