New olympic sport--stroller surfing

This is what went on during lunch break today...not entirely pain-free but very entertaining!

Julie brought her orange cake with yummy cream cheese frosting over and we all enjoyed a piece. The kids played while the ladies chatted...the perfect birthday party!

and what would a birthday be without good friends and good food? We had a 'surprise' visit from our Sunday friends, the Heggs. I also got a foot treatment from Kim...rose and lavendar bath, scrub, rub and nail care. It was relaxing and fun. Ralph was the gourmet chef with a salad, brussel sprouts, chestnuts, pork filet and späzli.

Hannes' first pumpkin, he is standing just to the right of it, you can hardly see him.

Today was the day to open presents for me, my presents were all ready on the floor in the boy's room with Legos, complete with a Tour Eiffel in the middle. Alinya had two ponies today and it was so cute. Tiana's little outfit looked so cute on her. Now Ralph is making me a nice birthday dinner while the kids are running around being kids.

The package has arrived Grandma and it was a success already. Liam got to open it in peace as it arrived while his bros were in school!

Fall is in the air here, with the days getting shorter and leaves trickling to the ground. I don't mind fall at all. The nights are getting close to freezing and the days are beautiful and sunny, and not so hot. Liam was enjoying an ice cream next to the bunnies today. They love to spend a few hours outside every day, eating the clover out of the grass.

Soccer

This is what the sibs do at a soccer game...

Dylan is number 3 and he was goalie most of the time today. There were maybe 6 teams and they played several short games.

love the after kick action...pretty much Dylan all over
