Alinya is really getting ready to crawl. She is up on all threes but has hard time getting that fourth limb going in the right direction. We had a potluck here today and it was fun.

A few more pix from Munich have trickled in, along with Alinya on her first foray into the tupperware drawer as well as our Thursday kids trying out the hot tub.

And a very happy new year to me! I am home alone with Alinya, there is a warm fire going and it FEELS GOOD! It was a great vacation and I find myself wishing it was another week long but on the other hand...it is nice that it's so quiet around here....

Christmas thru New Year's Day

I need to backtrack a little to cover all of the events of past few weeks. We finally got our hottub up on the balcony and it has been very enjoyable. We got to christen it with a Peruvian/Canadian family, Mike and Melinda and their boys, Simon and Felix. We also had some german folks and it was a great time, children stacked four high and lots of noise. Alinya was the only girl until Kim and Aschi came too and the female reinforcements included Zoe and Tiana. New Year's sees us in Munich, Germany with some old friends and we had the most incredible private fireworks experience we've ever had. It was noisy, smokey and fun!
